John Sprenger purchased the company in 2015. He was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in economics and flew jets for the Navy. He earned his MBA from the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola College of Maryland.

He brings leadership, management experience and a passion for history, American ingenuity and quality to the company. He is committed to carrying on the Burmeister legacy.

John is married with 3 children and enjoys walking, playing golf and paddle tennis and reading historical fiction.
